Building a Nation of Readers, One Book at a Time

The Read To The World Project is a flagship literacy initiative by Zambian ARTS Publishing House with a vision to place 100,000 books into the hands of readers across Zambia and beyond by the year 2030.

We believe that access to books has the power to transform lives. A single book can introduce a child to new ideas, inspire creativity, develop confidence, and create opportunities for lifelong learning.

Through this project, we aim to make quality reading materials more accessible while strengthening a culture of reading, learning, and storytelling.

Why 100,000 Books?

Many potential readers continue to face challenges accessing quality books for education, personal growth, and enjoyment. Schools, communities, and individuals need greater access to reading materials that inform, inspire, and encourage curiosity.

• Build partnerships with organisations, institutions, and individuals committed to advancing literacy and reading culture.
